I accidentally found your website and what a nice site. Where have you been all this time. Anyway, am planning to go to Ethiopia and am gonna stay there from 16 August till 13 September. What do you have as Arts & Culture? I think it is good if I know it now so I can plan. You know how Ethiopians are, you have to be here, you have to go to aunt Ame, you have to go to all “leksos” that you haven’t been to. They don’t re-celebrate all the “ledets” and “sergs” you missed, but they expect you to visit the “leksos.” You end up not having time for yourself. I have been there for two months last year... and I didn’t do anything. So I am planning it now before I go.

Welcome to you and your Fiddle Group! There is no one particular way or formula to present your work in Addis. It would be difficult to arrange a performance from out of Addis. Do you have any friends who can arrange things for you? That would be the best. The other possibility is to come and check out different potential performance venues. The first venue that comes to mind is the Coffee House. Good luck…or better yet…break a leg!
